Virat Kohli announced on Sunday that he will step down as Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain after the continued season of the Indian Premier League.
“This may be my ultimate IPL as captain of RCB. I’ll remain an RCB player until I play my remaining IPL sport. I thank all the RCB fanatics for believing in me and assisting me,” the 32-year-old flamboyant batsman stated in a video released by means of RCB.

“It became some thing that changed into on my mind as I recently introduced stepping down as T20 captain to control my workload which has been large. I need to be clear about how I need to move forward. I have made it clean to the control that I can’t think about being in every other crew apart from RCB,” he delivered.
“It has been a terrific and provoking journey, captaining a skilled bunch of players inside the RCB squad. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the RCB management, coaches, assist body of workers, gamers, and the whole RCB own family, who've been instrumental in the growth of the franchise over the years.”

Earlier on Thursday, Kohli had announced that he's going to step down as India’s T20I captain after subsequent month’s ICC T20 World Cup, starting from October 17.
